Friday Flavours - Spice Apple & Chai

This is one of my all time favourite cakes, and it's fast becoming a favourite with Caked customers too!

I created Spiced Apple & Chai when the lovely Rebecca & Nick asked me to create a bespoke flavour for their autumnal woodland wedding last October. After much experimentation with apples, blackberries, toffee and much more, they fell in love with the sweet and warming spiced apple.

Spiced Apple Chai

The light gently spiced apple sponge is soaked with a warming spiced syrup, and perfectly complimented with a fluffy chai buttercream. It's different, comforting but most importantly, absolutely delicious!

This year there are two special treats available. First are my mini cakes in three delicious festive flavours:

Festive Red Velvet - layers of red velvet sponge with white chocolate buttercream

Chocolate Orange - layers of deliciously rich chocolate mud cake with chocolate orange buttercream

Speculaas - layers of vanilla sponge with speculaas flavoured buttercream (spiced biscuit!)

Each cake is decorated with a sugar Christmas decoration.

As always these are available in boxes of 6 or 12, and you can choose one flavour or a mixed box if you can't decide.

For an extra special gift, go for a beautiful box of decorated Christmas cookies. Available in chocolate or gingerbread, and decorated in Classic Christmas or Gold Christmas.
